§       The average person uses 88 gallons of water a day.

§         The primary use of the City’s water supply during the spring and summer months are for irrigation and landscaping.

§         If everyone in the US used just one less gallon of water per shower every day, we could save some 85 billion gallons of water per year.

§          Toilets use 1 ½ to 5 ½ gallons for every flush.

§           Families could use anywhere from 20 to 70 gallons of water per day (if not  more) flushing the toilet.
